The following is the story of my family's pets, told from my dog Tinkerbell's point of view.

Hello, my name is Tinkerbell. I would like to share my Human's story with you.

It all started about fifteen years ago, when my Human received Sassy, a miniature schnauzer, for a birthday gift. A couple of years later my Human rescued Snickers, a tweeny dachshund, that fell in love with my Human's daughter. About a year after that Sara, a black lab mix, became my Human's son's pet; this meant three dogs and one happy family.

All was well for awhile. Then my Human noticed that her pets weren't as healthy as they should be. Veterinarian visits and bills didn't seem to make them better.

In all Sassy lived to be twelve and then developed grand mal seizures and had to be euthanized. Snickers lived to be ten and developed stomach cancer and had to be euthanized. Sara lived to be nine and developed cancer of the lymph nodes and had to be euthanized. My Human and her family mourned the great loss of precious family members, their pets.

My Human rescued me from a shelter just before Christmas in 2007. I am a white toy poodle, weighing in at four pounds.

My Human has done a lot of research about pet nutrition and pet food companies. She wasn't very happy when she discovered what pet food companies can legally put into our food.

Then came the search to find a pet food that's 'good for me', and that I like. That was a challege for my Human, because I'm a finicky eater.

My Human spoils me because, as she says, "I am worth it." She even hand-painted a set of dishes for me. I really love my Human!

Now she has finally found a premium, nutritious pet food, and TREATS! I'm now expecting to live much longer than I was before. I'm six years old and expecting to live at least for another fourteen years.
